Folkhem residential house project in Stockholm region
  • Location: Jerfella commune, Sweden
  • Area: 280m2
  • Project duration: August 2010 – January 2011

In 2010 Swedish design, development and construction company Folkhem AB began developing one of their numerous ambitious residential house projects not far from Stockholm in Järfälla commune’s beautiful territory of Barkarbystaden, where 60 families will move in by the end of 2012. Within the framework of the project it is planned to construct wooden carcass buildings, in which only nature friendly materials will be used, including roofs with soil cover in order to reduce the green-house effect.

The company is renowned for constructing high-quality, energo-efficient and eco-friendly houses. Furthermore, the planning and functionality is created by top-level architects of Sweden to ensure utmost comfortable living space for inhabitants. The cornerstone of Folkhem AB is individual approach to their customers needs. Thus all of their staff are appropriately managed, trained and controlled.

Receiving the invitation to carry out electrical equipment, phone and computer network installation works in the new project was considered not only as an honor, but taken on with utmost responsibility, since we had to conform to each and every requirement of the customer as well as Swedish national standards. We carried out works in three terraced houses of the first building stage and all auxiliary buildings or storages, as well as installed outdoor lighting on house facades. Within the framework of contract we also supplied all necessary materials, ensured connection to the power supply network of the town and created necessary drawings.
